Faculty Roundtable--Creative Assignments: Mastering Key Terms and Concepts

The Chicago Center for Teaching and Academic & Scholarly Technology Services have jointly planned nine Friday lunch-hour roundtables in the 2014-15 academic year to discuss three themes--discussion, lecturing, and assessment. We will devote one roundtable per quarter to each theme, and each roundtable will focus on a specific pedagogical challenge. At each roundtable, featured faculty members from across the University will briefly share their experiences on the featured topic, after which the majority of time will be devoted to discussion and questions. A light lunch will be provided. The roundtables are open to all faculty, and we especially encourage new faculty to attend.
